Fire-breathing dragon wows crowds at Wisbech Museum’s family fun day
Families of all ages enjoyed amazing fun this week as Wisbech Museum hosted a meet the dragon event.
A whopping 561 people were counted through the museum’s doors on Wednesday, and many more enjoyed the courtyard activities and a glimpse of Inferno the smoke-breathing dragon on his adventures in Museum Square.
This free event would not have been possible without a grant from Fenland District Council via its Fenland Culture Fund and organisers thanked the authority for its investment in this event.
A tremendous ‘thank you’ was also given to the museum’s talented volunteers, who gave up their time to help with this as well as at other events.
The day saw Meet Pete Dinosaur Hire, and Dodo and Dinosaur’s dragon performances, and dinosaur crafts enjoyed and loved by the hundreds of visitors.
And organsiers also thanked them for their superb and lovely interactions with the crowds.
