Fire on Forty Foot Bank near Chatteris

Firefighters were called to a blaze in the open near Chatteris on Saturday.

At 6.32pm , a crew from Stanground was called to a fire on Forty Foot Bank.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 8.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
