Firefighters use specialist equipment to free casualty after two-vehicle crash in Wimblington




Firefighters have confirmed they used specialist equipment to free someone from a vehicle after an accident on Wednesday.

The two-vehicle collision happened at 10.25am on Doddington Road in Wimblington.

The crew, from March, freed one casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.

They were at the scene until around 11.30am.

A spokesperson for the police said the casualty was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital suffering from injuries not believed to be serious.

The other driver was uninjured, and no arrests were made.
