There were signs of spring around West Norfolk this week as temperatures soared well above the seasonal average.

The weather also meant the daffodils were in full bloom on the riverbank in Upwell, as the above picture shows.

Forecasters had predicted that some parts of the country could be hotter than Ibiza.

Temperatures are also expected to remain mild into the weekend, though sunshine may be limited. MFCP17AF03112
