An ex-soldier is using his military knowledge to help people achieve their fitness goals with the launch of his new personal training business.

Darren Randall, who left the British Army Royal Engineers in July after five years of service, has set up Mental Fitness.

The 26-year-old’s business covers Wisbech and March and surrounding villages, offering clients personal training solutions tailored to their individual needs and goals.

Darren will also be working as a fitness instructor in the Fenland Council leisure centres in Wisbech, March, Chatteris and Whittlesey soon, on top of the kettlebell classes he has run at the Gym Group in Peterborough since August.

He said: “I spent five years in the Royal Engineers, where I learnt a lot about fitness.

“I’m now hoping to use this to help people of all abilities, shapes, sizes and ages to achieve their fitness goals.”
