Free family Easter activities and fitness sessions for all in Fenland
Free family Easter holiday activities, and sessions for adults who want to lose weight, have been added to the programme of social exercise and fitness classes for all in Fenland.
They're the latest addition to Fenland District Council's Active Fenland programme of free and low-cost exercise and fitness classes which include everything from fall prevention strength and balance classes for older people to family-friendly running sessions.
Cllr Alex Miscandlon, portfolio holder for leisure, said: “The Active Fenland programme is always packed with exciting and valuable, varied health and wellbeing activities for all ages and abilities.
“It’s excellent to see additional family fun available in Easter holidays and we look forward to seeing lots of families enjoying themselves and getting active at the same time.
“It’s also great, once again, to see free sessions for people who want to lose weight including the fantastic offer of included gym and leisure centre membership. It’s too good to miss!”
Free family Easter holiday running sessions for adults with children aged 12 plus are on offer in Wisbech and March.
