From speakers to fundraisers

Volunteer Centre Fenland has lots of new opportunities it hopes will appeal to Citizen readers.

Speakers are needed to talk to groups/schools about animals and animal welfare in Wisbech.

Other opportunities include contacting groups/schools to set up banks of donated food and animal products. Porters, general helpers and fundraisers are needed to contact businesses to support the RSPCA.

If you are a driver, volunteer to take patients to the Macmillan Palliative Day Care Centre at Wisbech. Trustees needed for Rape Crisis Care Group which supports female victims of rape and sexual abuse.

Local Sea Cadets need volunteers to help with groups of 10 to 18 year-olds with both water-based and onshore activities.

Creative activity co-ordinators are needed to help with games, quizzes and organising guest speakers.
