Fire service staff tucked into delicious homemade cakes as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Tins of cakes, tarts and sweet slices were brought in by staff at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Headquarters, in Huntingdon, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer as part of its coffee morning.
Dozens of operational and support staff enjoyed coffee and cake to raise £125 for the charity.
Organiser Patricia Wiggin, team manager of the service’s Business Support Group, said: “It was a lovely morning shared by staff and an opportunity to bring lots of different departments together. It’s clear we’ve got some great bakers at the service, so this ws a perfect chance for us all to enjoy their talents!
“Most importantly, we raised £125 for a vital charity and we’re thankful to all the staff that supported the event.”
