A car boot sale at Wisbech’s Horsefair Shopping Centre raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
It was held in aid of Wisbech Rotary Club as part of its annual Easter Fun Day held on Easter Monday. Shoppers flocked to the centre hoping to pick up a bargain, and £260.31 was raised.
Kevin Smith, manager of the Horsefair Shopping Centre, said: “Easter weekend is a busy time and the car boot is always popular. We’ve raised a fantastic amount and I’m delighted to present it to the Rotary Club.”
Rotary Club president Pearl Davies thanked the centre and shoppers for supporting the club, which fundraises for local charities and various causes in the community.
