LEARN MOREA village show returned for the first time in two years and attracted record breaking crowds.
Saturday's sunshine helped guarantee the success of the Gorefield Show.
It was its 59th anniversary and it had an array of attractions, ring displays, fun and games for all ages.
There was the ever popular heavy horse show, which saw the magnificent animals parade in the ring for the crowds to admire and the judges to pick their winners.
Children could not only compete in traditional races but also took part in a tug-of-war testing their strength against a tractor.
The children from Gorefield Pre-School took to the ring for their jubilee parade.
Dogs were not left out as there was a fun show for them with a range of novelty classes.
Lighter horses took to the show jumping ring and also competed in showing classes too.
Fair rides, stalls and games added to the afternoon's fun, which also included a falconry display and an exhibition of tractors and vintage and veteran vehicles.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: "After two absent years we came back with a bang, and we can’t thank you enough.
"It was a joy to see so many families and competitors having fun and we hope to see you next year for the big one, our 60th!
"Once again, on behalf of all the voluntary committee members (who will be taking a well-earned break now) thank you!"
Organisers would love to see you photos from the day and you can share them using the hashtag #gorefieldshow and if you have any feedback, then you can message their Facebook page as they'd love to hear from you.
