GET ACTIVE: Try our free online exercise sessions

Active Fenland has a selection of online exercise sessions which are all free to enjoy and take part in. These are instructor-led sessions that are based in “real time” each week. Here are two of the newest sessions on offer:

Brain Fit

The Brain Fit workout is a stress reducing, positive and motivational session that is great for all abilities. This session is ideal for anyone looking to get some real mood boosting activity into their week. It uses simple movements and stretches whilst saying positive affirmations and then finishes with a meditation section to help relax and reflect on the affirmations.

The only equipment required is a mat, cushion, and blanket for the meditation section. The meditation section can also be done on a chair if being on the floor is not suitable. No prior experience of meditation is needed for this session, it is ideal for beginners. Why not give it go? Join in Brain Fit weekly on Tuesdays, 6-6.45pm.

Beginner Fitness

Sometimes joining an exercise class as a beginner,
returner or try it outer can be off putting and daunting. Although all Active Fenland sessions are ideal for beginners, there is now a dedicated session for those who would like to join with other beginners too. The Beginners Fitness session is an aerobics-based workout designed with beginners in mind.

It uses basic movements to keep us moving whilst being designed to be fun and enjoyable, offering a full body workout. Join in Beginners Fitness weekly on Wednesdays 6-6.45pm.

Other online sessions include:

Legs, Bums and Tums on Mondays, 6-7pm. A workout designed to tone those specific areas.

Train Insane on Tuesdays, 6.30-7.15am. A more intense HIIT based workout to help push you that little bit further in a workout.

Buggy Fit on Thursdays, 9.30-10.30am. A workout designed for parents with young children.

FriYAY finisher on Fridays 7-7.45pm. Finish the week with a FriYAY, a weights-based session (if you don’t have weights you can use water bottles or water filled milk bottles).

All of the above sessions are free and are offered online via Zoom. To access them you will need to book onto the session and complete some booking paperwork (via email).

Once your booking is complete you will be sent zoom details for the session booked.
