A whole host of Easter events are springing up across Fenland this week, promising some ‘egg-stra’ special fun for all the family.
Lamb feeding is just one of the many attractions at Skylark Garden Centre in Wimblington, where its Easter Funyard is open every day of the half-term holiday from 10am to 4pm until Sunday, April 12.
There is also a daily grand Easter egg hunt, daily appearances from Peppa Pig, climbing frames and more. Visit www.skylarkgardencentre.co.uk or contact 01354 741 212 for more information.
Chatteris Conservative Club will be holding its first family fun day on Good Friday, April 3, complete with bouncy castles and inflatables from local firm Discover Your Mojo.
The fun starts at 11am with attractions including an Easter bonnet competition, Easter egg lucky draw, face painting and indoor games. There will also be a barbecue and bar.
Entry is free, although wristbands for unlimited access to the inflatables can be purchased for a one-off price.
Then on Saturday, youngsters can search for eggs of a different kind with a dinosaur egg hunt planned as part of an Easter Fun Day at Fossils Galore in High Street, March.
The event runs at the centre from 10am to 5pm and also includes face painting.
On Easter Monday, April 6, the Horsefair Shopping Centre in Wisbech is holding its annual Easter Fun Day.
The event is from 10am to 2pm, with a host of free family attractions including Uncle Mick’s Magical Punch and Judy Show at 11am and 1pm, face painting, a fairground ride and balloon modelling.
There will also be a Spider Mountain for children to climb, stalls, an Easter Egg Hunt and kids’ hard-boiled egg painting competition.
