MOVEMBER, the month of male facial hair, really captured the imagination at Anglia, with a team of 24 getting together to raise over £2,000.

The money will be a donation to The Prostrate Cancer Charity and the Institute of Cancer Research.

Held during November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world, to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Andrew Pockson led the Anglia Team of 22 men and two women. Andrew himself, John Bowman, Stuart Fickling and Kevin Clayton headed the fundraising leader board, each contributing over £100 to the magnificent total.

Andrew Pockson commented: “I believe strongly in ‘giving something back’ by making a contribution. Several suppliers got involved last year and we were really up for this. To get nearly a sixth of Anglia’s staff of 150 on board is terrific, I’ve been blown away with the support we’ve had. It’s thanks to this and the fantastic generosity of customers and suppliers that we’ve reached this magnificent total.”
