Update: Wisbech man faces crown court for sentencing over town burglaries




A man has been sent to crown court for sentencing after admitting three counts of burglary in Wisbech last week.

Jesse Gray, 19, of Kinderley Road, Wisbech, was arrested in the town’s Ramnoth Road in the early hours of Saturday morning by officers patrolling the area in response to recent burglaries.

He was charged with three burglaries, two counts of assault by beating and one of using abusive/threatening/insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence. He denied the assault and the other charge and has been remanded in custody until July 22.
