MARCH residents will be able have their questions about cancer answered on Wednesday, August 15 as Boots in Broad Street hosts a Macmillan cancer information specialist in store.
Anyone with a question or concern about cancer, no matter how small, is welcome to come into store between 9.30am and 2.30pm for a confidential chat, or just to pick up some information leaflets. No appointment is necessary and the service is completely free of charge.
Sarah Beaven, Macmillan cancer information and support specialist, said: “Macmillan is there every step of the way for people affected by cancer. As our partner, Boots is an important part of the Macmillan team.
“With Boots’ presence on the high street, we have the opportunity to test how the partnership can reach even more people affected by cancer in their local communities and provide them with the support they need.”
If you would like cancer information and advice, but cannot visit on the day, call the Macmillan Support Line free on 0808-8080000 or visit www.macmillan.org.uk
