CAMBRIDGESHIRE Community Services NHS Trust has announced the appointment of Trish Davies as a Non Executive Director of its Board.
Heather Peck, Chairman, Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust said: “I am delighted that Trish is joining the Trust’s Board. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from previous positions held including a strategic leadership role within the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and prior to that as Director of Corporate Policy and Communications at the National Care Standards Commission. Trish joins a Board dedicated to developing high quality, accessible services in the community.”
Commenting on her appointment, Trish added: “As a qualified social worker I am pleased to be joining an organisation that prioritises the integration of health and social care services to achieve the very best outcomes for local people. I am passionate about ensuring the quality and standard of care provided is second to none and I look forward to helping to shape the strategic direction of the services provided by the Trust across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Luton and Suffolk.”
Trish was formally appointed by the Appointments Commission Health and Social Care Appointments Committee in accordance with the Commissioner for Public Appointments Code of Practice. Her term of office runs from December 1 2011 to 30 November 2015 and the post is remunerated at £6,096 per annum.
All appointments are made on merit and political activity plays no part in the selection process. However, in accordance with the original Nolan recommendations, there is a requirement for appointees’ political activity (if any declared) to be made public. Trish has declared no political activity, and she holds no Ministerial appointments.
