Concerns for Chatteris child - Magpas Helimedix fly to scene

The Magpas Helimedix team flew to a Chatteris home this morning (Friday) to aid a child with breath difficulties.

Dr Ali Tompkins and Paramedic Dan Read arrived at the scene at around 10am following a call from an EEAST Ambulance Crew for urgent assistance,

When the Magpas team arrived, the child was awake and their breathing had improved. They assessed the young patient, working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Crew. No further Magpas intervention was needed and the child was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital in a land ambulance.

On arrival at the hospital, the child was in a stable condition.

Magpas Helimedix Team wish the child a speedy recovery as the family are going on holiday tomorrow.
