Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are launching a new discreet online service for patients who need to book an appointment through the sexual health department.
The online booking system will be launched on Monday 18 November and will make the service more efficient and discreet for patients.
Currently patients have to call to book an appointment during office hours, but with this new service they will be able to book their appointment online at a time that is convenient with them.
The anonymous and secure online booking system will allow patients to self-triage; look at the available appointments; book, change or cancel their appointment and complete their details online. This means that patients will not need to speak to anyone to book the appointment and will speed up the process when they arrive on the day of their appointment.
Ravi Dass, Charge Nurse at Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said, “We are always looking to make our patients journey as simple and efficient as possible and this new booking system will reduce their waiting times and give them the opportunity to book at a time that is convenient for them.”
