Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be holding two recruitment events today (Thursday) and Monday, 9 December 2013 to offer potential, qualified nurses the opportunity to work at Peterborough City Hospital, one of the country’s newest and most modern healthcare facilities.
Potential new recruits will be given guided tours of Peterborough City Hospital, and will have the chance to visit information stands and talk to representatives from different departments from across the Trust.
The Trust is looking to recruit around 50 additional nurses, in permanent and bank positions, to support our existing nursing teams in providing excellent care to patients.
The tours will illustrate the great facilities that are on offer, such as the learning and development centre, where employees can enhance their skills and education with an onsite library, use training rooms that feature a mock ward area and resuscitation equipment and attend seminars in the lecture theatre.
Joanna Cousins, Deputy Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development said, “We are looking to recruit clinical staff to build on the excellent care that is already provided for our patients. This is a good opportunity for us to show potential employees what we have to offer to help them build their career and work in a friendly and rewarding environment.”
The recruitment events take place from 9.30am to 5pm today and from 4pm to 9pm on Monday 9 December.
Applicants can fill out an application form via the NHS Jobs website, but facilities will also be available on the day. The event is open to all nurses to attend without the need to pre-book an appointment.
