Volunteer staff wanted to support those in their recovery from substance misuse

INCLUSION drug service are looking for motivated volunteers who want to support clients in their recovery from drug dependency.

All applicants must be over 18, live within Cambridgeshire and meet the NHS staff entrance requirements for this field.

Spaces are limited and they are seeking those with two days a week for the next 12 months available to apply.

They also encourage those who have had personal experience of recovery or have been affected by someone’s substance use concerns.

The volunteer induction training course is delivered twice a year and is rotated around their various projects located across Cambridgeshire. Successful applicants will be invited to an interview recruitment day.

If you are offered a volunteer placement, you will entered into their nine-week volunteer development training programme.

Once trained, you will be based at their nearest Inclusion drug service project in Wisbech, Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots or Cambridge City.

You will work directly with clients and gain essential ‘volunteering’ experience and additional recognised qualifications.
