A family are appealing for help to find their missing four month-old Labrador puppy.

They are offering a reward for information leading to the safe return of Honey, who was bought for the seven-year-old son, who has autism.

Mum Emma said her son is devastated as he and Honey were best friends.

The family have had Honey since she was seven-and-a-half weeks old.

Emma explained she let Honey and Labradors one year-old fudge and four-month-old Buzz out into the garden of their St John’s Fen End home for a run at about 4.30pm on October 2.

Around 6pm she realised she couldn’t hear the dogs and went outside to find all three missing.

When she called, Fudge and Buzz came home but Honey never returned.

Emma and friends have walked miles knocking on doors, contacting local vets, dog wardens, the police, they have pushed leaflets through doors but still there has been no sign of Honey.

She has posted details on Facebook and also the Marshland Facebook page and has contacted Petsearch in the hope someone will come forward.

Emma even had a person from Kent get in touch after seeing the Facebook appeal travel to the Fens with a tracker dog in a bid to find Honey.

“She tried to trace Honey’s scent. She thinks she is still in the area,” said Emma, who doesn’t know if Honey has been
found and taken or if she is still roaming around the countryside.

She is appealing to Citizen readers to keep a look out and call her on 07522721087 with any information.

“We are hoping she has gone somewhere dry,” said Emma, who added Honey’s breed papers are registered to her.

She said all three children are very upset and desperate to get Honey back.
