Weekly Covid-19 rates for local authority areas in England released
The latest figures showing the rolling seven-day rate of new cases of COVID-19 for every local authority in England, show there were 7.9 cases in Fenland in the seven days up to July 26 and 6.7 the previous week.
In nearby West Norfolk, there were 0.7 cases each week, with 2.1 in South Holland, down from 3.2 the previous week.
The figures, for the seven days to July 26, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two).
