WH Smith in Wisbech, where the winning EuroMillions ticket was bought last week, still have no idea who sold the ticket.

Management at the Market Place store are trying to determine when the ticket was purchased so they can work out who the cashier was, but are waiting for Camelot to give them the information.

However, store manager Dan Gover said they are very pleased for Dave and Angela Dawes.

Mr Gover was told on Tuesday morning that the £101 million ticket had been sold at his store but was sworn to absolute secrecy until the official reveal at 2pm.

The small branch was then inundated with requests for interviews from television, newspapers and radio.

The manager had been invited to the champagne reception and was given the opportunity to present the massive cheque to the Dawes, but unfortunately could not find cover. Instead he spent the day stocking the Christmas displays and fielding reporters.
