POLICE are trying to trace the owner of a gold ring found in the bottom of a charity bag in March.
The ring was handed into police after a charity shop worker at Cancer Research found it in a bag of donated items.
PCSO Leona Pouncey, said: “The ring was handed in to the charity shop around three weeks ago and it is possible that it has slipped off into the bag and was not meant for donation.
“If the item is not claimed by the end of June it will be returned to the charity shop as a donation item.”
If you believe this may be your ring please contact March Police Station on 0345-4564564 and provide a description of the lost item.
