The third ‘Celebrate the Fens’ event is this weekend, and it promises to be bigger and better than previous years, with plenty of opportunity for people to get involved and celebrate.

The event is organised by ‘Fascinating Fens’ with the aim to showcase the Fenland area over a weekend during the summer, and this year there is an excellent programme of events for the public to enjoy.

A spokesperson for Fascinating Fens said “We want to thank everyone who has come forward and offered to be part of our programme which has plenty of variety across the Fenland area. We also want to make it an interactive event so over the weekend, people can get involved on social media by sending images and anything else fen related by using the #CelebrateTheFens."
