Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard in Wimblington is expanding its horizons with a new jungle-themed giant maze.
At over 12 acres and with over 3km of pathways, the giant puzzle of fun is believed to be one of the biggest mazes in the UK. Visitors will set out like explorers on safari into the jungle maize maze to find the fun challenges.
The jungle-themed maize maze is one of a number of new attractions at Skylark this year as owner Edward Gowler explains: “We have invested heavily this year in new attractions and facilities to make this a full day out for families. The new jungle safari-themed maize maze includes many new surprises to add even more fun. We have installed a new zipwire in the funyard, extended the animal pens and introduced the new spectacle of pig racing. “Also new for 2013 is our Pesky Pigeons Tractor Trailer Ride, where visitors will be given a large water pistol to shoot at pigeon targets, though some of them will fire back and visitors should expect they may get wet!”
A visit to Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard also includes many other family activities including; giant inflatable slides, pedal go-kart track, play areas and more.
There is a cafe which has been recognised by the Guild of Food Writers as a “special place to stop for a super snack.” Skylark also has its Garden Centre and Country Store.
Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard is open daily from Saturday July 20 to Sunday September 8 then weekends only until the end of September when the maize maze will be harvested.
