CHILDREN at the Anthony Curton School in Walpole St Andrew enjoyed a traditional-style street party on Thursday to celebrate the Jubilee.
The pupils were joined by youngsters from the Walpole Area Pre-School which meant a total of 185 children sat down to a street party.
There was also an opportunity to dress up either by wearing red, white and blue or as a king and queen and the best costumes earned their wearers a place at the top table for the day. Winners were Queen Tallulah Moxey (6) of Year 2 and King James Wright (8) of Year 3.
Later in the day the children were presented with commemorative diamond jubilee medals from the school PTA and china mugs from the parish council.
