FIREFIGHTERS are currently at the scene of a major incident in Friday Bridge.
Seven appliances from Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Lincolnshire, including a water carrier and ladder, are fighting the blaze in a large industrial unit, situated near Friday Bridge International Camp.
It is believed to have started around 7am this morning (Monday).
The fire crews have managed to confine the fire to around 25 per cent of the 50m by 80m building and are bringing it under control.
The building had a mezzanine floor, which made fighting the fire more complicated.
The B1093 March Road is closed to traffic and vehicles are being diverted, so motorists are advised to avoid the area.
A fire investigation is due to be carried out this morning to establish a cause.
