An investigation has been launched after a man was seriously injured in an assault last night.

Police were called to a property in Marsh Road, Outwell, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, following reports that a man had been found inside with serious injuries.

The victim, who is in his 60s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn. A short time ago, police said he was in a serious, but stable, condition.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information about it, is asked to contact detectives from King’s Lynn CID on 101.
