Volunteers are needed to lead the new police cadet force which will be starting in Wisbech shortly.

Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner Sir Graham Bright is looking for new recruits to work with teenagers.

Two units will be launching in the town in September with meetings held at the Queen Mary Centre on Wednesdays or in Meadowgate on Fridays.

No prior policing experience is necessary and full training will be provided.

Sir Graham said: “Young people need positive role models to nurture their talents and instil confidence and motivation – if you believe that you have the charisma to do this then we would love to hear from you.”
