A lipreading programme in Fenland is being re-launched.
The programme is specifically designed to help people with an acquired hearing loss.
Do you feel that you are missing out in social settings because your hearing is not as good as it used to be? Do you wear a hearing aid but find some situations are still difficult to cope with?
Perhaps joining a group of people with similar problems might help?
The two-hour sessions combine an explanation of the theory of lipreading along with practice and also includes discussions on other hearing-related topics.
Catering for people of 16 years of age and upwards and all lipreading abilities, the first meeting is an opportunity to try a session without commitment.
The programme is scheduled to start during the week beginning September 24 in the following locations:
Monday morning - March, Monday afternoon - Ely, Wednesday afternoon - Huntingdon and Friday morning - Chatteris
