Local Fenland project awarded £29,000 from BBC Children in Need

BBC Children in Need has awarded new funding totalling £29,737 to a local project working with disadvantaged children and young people in Fenland.

The three-year grant award of £29,737, made possible by last year's Children in Need appeal, will support Ormiston Families to provide fun, wellbeing activities for babies and children up to four-years old who are facing poverty and deprivation in areas of Fenland, including March and Wisbech.

The programme of support aims to improve the children's physical and mental health whilst supporting the children to reach their developmental milestones and build family bonds.
