“SIXTY Glorious Years” was the theme for Christchurch Parish Church flower festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The church was open each day from 10am and on Sunday the festival was brought to a close with a Songs of Praise at 4pm.
Organiser Margaret Sparrow said it was a real team effort with everyone pulling together.
Margaret said it went very well and the church was busy.
Christchurch couple Malcolm and Ann Hicks opened their Padgett’s Road garden gates to offer cream teas.
Inside in the church were 29 arrangements with the majority made by members of the village.
The arrangements included communications, travel, the Mini car, wedding dresses and the Townley School depicted the World Cup of 1966.
