Man died in Tydd Gote crash

A 27-year-old man died after a crash in Tydd Gote last night.

The incident occurred just after 7pm after a collision involving a motorcycle in Station Road.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "Despite the efforts of medical staff, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene."

The A1101 - which links Long Sutton and Wisbech - was closed at about 7:40pm while the emergency services attended to the scene.

The spokesman added: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact us immediately.

"If you were driving in the area at the time and captured dashcam footage, we would like to hear from you."
