A man was taken to hospital after being pushed off his bike by robbers.

The 34-year-old victim was riding his bike in Norwich Road, Wisbech, near its junction with Park Street, at about 7.30pm on Saturday (September 13) when he was pushed to the ground.

One of the men rode off on the bike along Norwich Road while the other ran off towards the park.

The man suffered a serious but not life threatening injury to his head and was treated at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

DC Shelly Reeve said: “We know there were people in the area at the time so I would encourage them to come forward, if they haven’t already.

“In particular, we would like to speak to a man who was in Seyon Store at the time who we believe saw the robbery.”

Anyone with information should contact DC Reeve on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
