Man stabbed in High Street brawl in March

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed during a fight in March town centre in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning.

The incident is believed to have involved up to 10 people and occurred at around 2.20am (July 8) outside Georges Pub in High Street.

A police spokesman said officers were called to the incident adding: "It was reported a group of about 10 people, mainly men, were fighting and one person had been stabbed.

"The victim a man in his 20s was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by ambulance. His injures were not deemed to be life-threatening."
