A fun packed summer was launched at a March museum this weekend.
Deputy mayor Andrew Donnelly cut the ribbon to signal the start of a host of activities at Fossills Galore on Saturday morning. Museum owner Jamie Jordan and his team welcomed more than 100 people on the day. Hunting for ancient relics, panning for gold and sifting for shark teeth are among the adventures on offer this year. A new attraction to the museum is Archaeology Dig , which allos children the chance to find Roman and Victoria relics, using traditional techniques.
