Sports equipment no longer used by a March school is being put to better use after being donated to charity.

Neale Wade Academy has presented badminton rackets, nets, basketballs and soft balls to armed forces charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

The charity – founded by Walpole St Andrew war widow Nikki Scott – supports the children of men and women killed whilst serving in the British Armed Forces.

The equipment will be distributed to Scotty’s Lodges – the charity’s holiday homes – which give families free breaks away when they need respite.
