A woman had to be rescued via window after suffering abdominal injuries in the upstairs of a March property yesterday evening (Wednesday).
At 6.11pm Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Monojit Choudhury and Paramedic Simon Standen) arrived at a residential address in March, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW.
The Magpas team administered enhanced pain relief, before working alongside Fire and Rescue Crews to safely remove the patient, who was in her 30s from the first floor of the house.
The Helimedix then accompanied her in a Land Ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital, where on arrival she was in a stable condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew, two Fire and Rescue Crews, including a turntable ladder, and the Police were all present.
The incident was described as challenging and unique because of the way the woman had to be rescued from the house.
