Meeting to promote twinning

A PUBLIC meeting is being held on November 24 to promote twinning in Wisbech.

Links between the Fenland town and its French twin Arles have not been very active over the past few years and now the Wisbech Arles Twinning Club wants to boost its popularity again.

The meeting will be held in the Dwight Centre of Wisbech Grammar School at 7.30pm on Thursday, November 24. If you, or a club or organisation you belong to, are interested in links with Arles, you are welcome to attend.

Roger Powell, chairman of the twinning club, said: “We in Wisbech are privileged to be twinned with such a prestigious town as Arles. Please help to make the twinning work again.”
