Chatteris motorist fined £50 for noisy exhaust
A motorist has been fined £50 in Chatteris for his exhaust being too loud.
Officers targeting anti-social drivers and using a noise monitor, stopped the car.
A police spokesman said any fines issued always get invested in the Road Safety Partnership to promote road safety for all.
If you are concerned that your exhaust may exceed the acceptable level of 90db, as agreed nationally, then contact March police station and they will test it for free.
