MOTORISTS are being warned to expect disruption due to the Secret Garden Party starting today (Thursday).

Thousands of festival-goers are due to descend on Abbots Ripton for the music festival which runs until Monday (July 25).

A police spokesman said: “A large number of vehicles are expected to be heading to the site over the next few days.

“We would remind residents to allow more time for their journey as there may be some disruption to routes around the venue.”

A webpage has been set up on the Cambridgeshire Police website offering visitors to the Secret Garden Party advice on travel, crime prevention and how to stay safe.
