Choosing the right NHS health service for your needs will be easier now that a website dedicated to helping the public choose well has been launched.

The website – created by NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group – contains a mixture of information, articles and educational tools to help the public understand which service is most suitable for their health needs.

Choosewellcambs.nhs.uk will be refreshed with new interviews from GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in an effort to bring people closer to their local NHS team.

The site is dedicated to the Choose Well Campaign and contains leaflets that can be downloaded in over 26 different languages.

GP Gary Howsam said: β€œOne-in-three people who visit Emergency Departments in the region could have self-cared or used another service. This website can be an essential tool in helping the public choose the correct service.”
