Open day at Marshland St James kennels
Scores of visitors went along to look over the £9,000 refurbishment of kennels at a dog sanctuary in Marshland St James.
The Wisbech Retired Greyhound Trust invited people to look around the improved site, which has seen wooden beds replaced by concrete, along with an improved roof, thanks to Daniel Wagg.
The renovation has been funded by the trust along with a benefactor. Chairman Barbara Townsend said a dog has been re-homed as a result of the event and another has been fostered. But there are still 12 dogs in need of homes. Call 01945 430311. Pictured are: Janice Freshwater, Barbara Townsend, Chloe and Michelle Chaplin Picture: MFCP15AF1001
