A solar farm could be built in March if planners give the go-ahead.

Solar Parks Ltd has applied to put up 19,228 solar panels with associated transformers, inverters, switchgear, underground cabling and cameras on land north of Bradney Farm, Knights End Road.

A planning application lodged with Fenland District Council last week says the development could generate enough power for 1,250 homes each year.

The scheme would take 12 to 16 weeks to construct and would be decommissioned after 25 years.
