Paddocks could be developed into a housing estate under new plans.

G Newman wants to build “farm style” homes on a site off Downham Road, Salters Lode.

The application lodged with West Norfolk Council does not state how many homes will be constructed.

The design and access statement said; “It is proposed to change the use of the site to residential building land. There is an existing site access on the A1122 as detailed on the accompanying drawings.

“The proposal will include landscaping and shared driveway with parking to the front with planting to soften the front of the properties. The rear gardens will be seeded with grass and may include patio areas.

“There is also paddocks to the rear of each property.”
