Police appeal after woman threatened in Wisbech

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was threatened by two men in Wisbech.

The men approached the victim and made lewd remarks as she walked along The Chase, on February 7 at 10.30pm. She responded and one of the men then produced a knife.

The victim shouted and the men made off in the direction of De Havilland Road.

The men are both described as being about 18-years-old. One had spikey, dark, gelled hair and wore a green gillet, blue jeans and brown boots. The other had dark, gelled, hair, and wore a blue jumper, blue jeans and black boots. Both are described as having Irish accents.

PC Marc Bates said: “This incident left the victim frightened and shocked. I urge anyone with information to come forward.”
