Police plea to shoppers over Upwell burglary

Crime news.
Crime news.

Detectives say customers who buy fruit and vegetables from a house in Upwell may be able to help them solve a burglary there.

Items including jewellery, cash and watches were stolen during a break-in at the address on School Road between 8.30am and 5.50pm on Saturday.

Police say the residents sell produce from the property, known locally as Russell’s Fruit and Veg.

And officers believe people who went to the site on Saturday may have vital information about the raid.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on the day, or who has any other information about the raid, is asked to contact Det Con Chris Parnham, of King’s Lynn CID, via the non-emergency 101 number.

Witnesses can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 with any information.
