Hard-core criminals at a maximum security prison have complained - about being too cold.

Prisoners at HMP Whitemoor in March, have complained to a campaign group about freezing in their cells.

In a Twitter message, a spokeswoman for the Not Guilty By Association (JENGBA) group said: “The guys are freezing in concrete cells with no heating and are asking to be able to buy warm clothing from private cash or have it sent in.

“We are looking at one of the coldest winters coming up and these inhumane ridiculous rules are going to result in illness and death.”
