Families across Wisbech are being urged to get their thinking caps on and complete the quiz below.
Wisbech Reads has devised the quiz to coincide with World Book Day, which takes place on Friday.
Families could stand a chance of winning cinema passes or even supermarket vouchers by completing the book-based quiz, which is free to families in Wisbech and the surrounding area.
Wisbech Reads is a five-year project which is aimed at inspiring a love of reading and books among people of all ages.
One of the core members of the group is Carrie Norman, principal of Peckover Primary School, in Leverington Road.
She said: “It is Wisbech Reads’ aim to make reading fun for the families of Wisbech.
“The family quiz is a great way to get everyone in the house reading and inquisitive about books.”
Families must submit their completed quiz sheets by 4pm on Friday, March 11, to: Wisbech Library, Orchards Primary School, Peckover Primary School, Elm Road Primary School, Clarkson Infant School, Kinderley Primary School, Nene Infants School, Thomas Clarkson Academy or any Wisbech Children’s Centre. Alternatively you can email your entry to: FamilyQuiz2016@thomasclarkson.cambs.sch.uk
One person, aged over 18, must be nominated as team leader and all correct entries will be passed to a panel of judges who will select a winner based on a tie-break question.
The rules also state that winners agree to take part in publicity for Wisbech Reads and for names to be released. This may include photographs in the local press or schools websites.
Prizes on offer include a family pass to the Light Cinema, two £20 Asda vouchers and a family pass to a local Lego Fun Day, meals at Frankie and Benny’s, along with a selection of books.
The winning team will be notified by March 31 – so be sure to include your contact details.
